Accreditation HIC Online Lady Doctor

Accreditation. We are pleased to announce that the practice has received official notification of its Accreditation from AGPAL (Australian General Accreditation Limited).  Accreditation is a continuous process of self assessment and improvement that occurs in 3 year cycles. It is your guarantee that we at Middle Camberwell Medical Clinic adhere to the stringent criteria set by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners for best practice performance.

HIC Online. Are you aware that there is now no need for you to go to a Medicare Office to get your refund after paying for the doctor's visit?  Of course if you wish to get a cash refund then you will need to attend a Medicare Office. If however you wish to lodge a claim and get the refund either as a cheque sent to your home address or as a direct deposit into your nominated bank acount this can now be done at the time of the consultation. Just ask the Receptionist how.

The Future. It is with great pleasure that we advise that we have, in January 2006, signed a new long term lease for Middle Camberwell Medical Clinic. This means that we at MCMC are committed to the long term and shall be here for the next 16 years if health happiness and good fortune remain with us. In these times of never ending change and the trend towards corporatisation and amalgamation of medical services we are proud to be able to offer the community the same level of personal service that was initiated when the Clinic opened in January 1996.

Clerical Staff News.  We welcome Maria Dickinson, Natalie McLean and Marg Cameron to our team. Rebecca Marano will be working at the clinic while she continues her studies in nursing at Deakin University Burwood.

Medical Students. Middle Camberwell Medical Clinic is an accredited teaching practice for Melbourne & Monash Universities. We are proud to be involved in the teaching of medical students in various stages of their learning to become the doctors of the future. From time to time you will see notices informing you that there is a Medical Student is in attendance at the practice. We stress that there is no compulsion for you to agree to having a medical student involved in your consultation with the doctor. We ask that you give these young doctors of the future the opportunity to advance their learning first hand by being presnt at the consultation with the doctor or even better still to allow them to interview and examine you before calling in the doctor. We thank you for your kind consideration in this matter.
